Does it assume my CSV has a header row?
Yes — the first row is always treated as column names, which become the keys of each resulting object.
Are numbers and booleans detected automatically?
Yes — a cell that looks like a number becomes a number, and true, false, or null (lowercase, exactly) become their JSON equivalents. Everything else stays a string.
What do dotted column names turn into?
A column named details.type becomes a nested details: { type: ... } object in the output — the reverse of how JSON to CSV flattens nested fields.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser.
