Frequently asked questions
Why do some keys start with @_?
Those are XML attributes — <user id="1"> becomes { "@_id": "1", ... } — prefixed so an attribute never collides with a same-named child element.
What happens to repeated elements?
Siblings with the same tag name become a JSON array; a single occurrence stays a plain object or value.
What happens to text mixed with child elements?
Element text is kept under a #text key alongside any attributes or children, so nothing is silently dropped.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
